Syftet med behovsanalysen var att ta reda p\u00e5 vad l\u00e4rarna ans\u00e5g att de beh\u00f6vde l\u00e4ra sig om undervisning i klimatkunskap. Vi ville veta vilka pedagogiska metoder och resurser f\u00f6r undervisning som redan finns n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller klimatkunskap och vilka material och metoder som l\u00e4rarna ans\u00e5g saknas eller \u00e4r sv\u00e5ra att f\u00e5 tillg\u00e5ng till. I unders\u00f6kningen s\u00f6kte vi ocks\u00e5 information om vilket st\u00f6d l\u00e4rarna ans\u00e5g sig ha f\u00f6r att kunna ta itu med klimatfr\u00e5gor i sina klassrum.<\/p><p>Inventeringen av l\u00e4rarnas behov genomf\u00f6rdes i Belgien, Estland, Tyskland, Sverige och Turkiet. Totalt 138 l\u00e4rare deltog och svaren visar n\u00e5gra gemensamma teman i alla l\u00e4nder. Unders\u00f6kningsresultaten visar att l\u00e4rarna i allm\u00e4nhet \u00e4r intresserade av att l\u00e4ra sig mer om klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar och ta del av aktiviteter f\u00f6r att b\u00e4ttre kunna undervisa och motivera eleverna om klimatfr\u00e5gor. De flesta f\u00f6resl\u00e5r ett tv\u00e4rvetenskapligt, samarbetsinriktat och aktivt tillv\u00e4gag\u00e5ngss\u00e4tt f\u00f6r att undervisa om klimatfr\u00e5gor i skolan och i hela samh\u00e4llet.<\/p><p>P\u00e5 fr\u00e5gan om vad som f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas av dem n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller undervisning om klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar svarade de tillfr\u00e5gade l\u00e4rarna att de skulle vilja ha f\u00e4rre obligatoriska moment i sina kursplaner, och mer flexibilitet f\u00f6r att engagera sina elever i klimatfr\u00e5gor. De var \u00f6verens om att \u00e4mnet klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar b\u00f6r f\u00f6rankras i s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga undervisnings\u00e4mnen som m\u00f6jligt. Det f\u00f6reslogs ocks\u00e5 att skolorna borde ge utrymme f\u00f6r tv\u00e4rvetenskapliga projekt om olika h\u00e5llbarhets\u00e4mnen.<\/p><p>Dessutom f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntar sig l\u00e4rarna st\u00f6d, tid och resurser f\u00f6r detta \u00e4mne inom och utanf\u00f6r skolan. Eleverna (och deras f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrar) b\u00f6r ocks\u00e5 vara medvetna om m\u00e5len f\u00f6r h\u00e5llbar utveckling och involverade i hur de behandlas i skolorna.<\/p><p>Enligt de tillfr\u00e5gade l\u00e4rarna \u00f6nskas \u00f6kad flexibilitet i l\u00e4roplanerna, en st\u00f6djande skolmilj\u00f6, \u00f6ppenhet och lyh\u00f6rdhet hos alla ber\u00f6rda parter n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar f\u00f6r att st\u00f6dja en klok strategi f\u00f6r klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar och fr\u00e4mjande av klimatkunskap. Dessutom anser l\u00e4rarna att de egna kunskaperna om klimatf\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar och nationell utbildningspolitik spelar en viktig roll.
